At Trustoo, personal development and job satisfaction are in the core of the organization. From account managers who engage with customers daily to product managers and developers constantly working to enhance the platform—everyone’s voice is heard, and everyone is united in pursuing the same goal: to build the most outstanding platform in the world.
The next step
As business is booming, Trustoo is about to take the next step towards scaling up. For this reason, the company plans to create a new management layer, meaning that some employees in mid-level positions will transition to new roles. By investing in personal and team growth, Trustoo is enabling its leadership to face the challenges of the future.
Prerequisite
What made the expedition full-fledged was that, alongside senior management, the two directors, Lars and Pieter, also participated in the program. This was particularly relevant given one of the organization’s goals: teambuilding. After all, a team's effectiveness is forged through the interplay between all its members. Everyone is a single contributor to the overall company’s success.

Trustoo's management has demonstrated that atmosphere and team building are important components of the organization's strategy. By being open to diversity and welcoming "social outcasts," the company is able to attract and retain rare talent. Especially for IT-related companies, the current tight labor market makes retention just as crucial as recruitment. The investment in team building and a positive work environment thus pays off by retaining these scarce categories of talent.
During the evaluation, it quickly became clear that a large portion of the participants experienced real mental growth during the expedition. This was particularly remarkable, as it had been decided to reach the summit in a condensed two-day program. That extra third day often provides just the push people need to stretch their limits. This time, the results were achieved within just two days. Unique!
Not only are physical limits pushed, but the team’s mental strength is also tested during this immersive experience.
